Lihong Huo
With nearly 10 years’ experience caring for patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders in our own Central Massachusetts community, Dr. Lihong Huo is continuing her proven track record of clinical excellence and compassionate care with Community Specialty Services – Endocrinology. Dr. Huo received her medical education at Lanzhou University in Lanzhou, Gansu, China prior to her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Mt. Vernon Hospital in Mt. Vernon, New York. She completed her Endocrinology & Metabolism fellowship at University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, and has been affiliated with St. Vincent Hospital since 2017. She has done a number of post-doctoral research fellowships, hold a number of scholarly publications, and has been active in teaching in the St. Vincent Hospital residency program.
Beyond her clinical acumen, Dr. Huo consistently receives glowing reviews from the patients she treats for her kindness, compassion, and empathy along with her excellent knowledge base.
